Yes, however you do not need a referral if you do not wish to claim the Medicare rebate on the consultation.
What are my out of pocket expenses?
Dr Frawley is a NO GAP provider to patients who have private health insurance.
What do I need to do if it is a WorkCover or TAC claim?
Obtain an approval from your WorkCover insurance company or your employer in writing prior to making an appointment.
What should I bring with me?
A copy of your referral from your GP, any Xrays, MRI films, Ultrasound and CT scans .
Your Medicare card and private health insurance details.
What is the waiting time for an appointment?
Depending on the urgency of your problem, emergencies can usually be seen on the same day (Mon-Fri) and for less urgent problems within 1-2 weeks.
How long is the waiting list for Surgery?
As Dr Frawley only operates in private hospitals your case can normally be scheduled within 1-2 weeks.
